In this page I would try to explain
in few paragraph what is a sitemap
why do you need it, how to generate
it and to use it correctly.
What is a site map?
I site map is a
formatted file that
index all the web pages
on your domain and
enable both search
engines and users to
better access your web
pages.
Why do I need a
site map?
Since all major search
engines Bing, Yahoo,
Ask, and Google use the
same sitemap protocol
site map will enable the
search engines easy
access to your web page
and increase the
probability that the web
page will be crawled and
get higher rank in the
search. Adding the site
map is a small
investment with a big
benefit for a website.

are available
There is the default

also few specials

You can easily generate
a site map by using of
the self sitemaps

within few clicks you
can create your site
map. I recommend to
generate a site map in
html format and XML
format.
What should I do
with a site map?
The HTML format or the
site is recommended to
be linked in the footer
of the website so users
and search engines can
access it from any
webpage of the site.
XML site map should be
position in your web
site as be reported to
all majors search
engines Google and
site map
It is very important
that you will load the
XML site map you have
created to Google. Using
Google webmaster tools
you can go to site map
and load the site map
file to Google. By doing
so Google will easily be
able to crawl your site
and you can get
statistics on the number
of pages you have upload
and the number of pages
that Google added to the
search engine. |
